General hospital why is robin leaving

So very good. The scene should have been much longer. A chance to build, they both deserved more, so good…. Unfortunately Ron Carlivati has no idea how to write characters in the long-term, and this is what we get. He would introduce characters on OLTL, have zero idea where to go with them, then the characters would get axed. Ron has dropped more balls on storylines than Captain Kangaroo dropped ping-pong balls.

Very natural and wonderfully acted! These ladies deserve Emmy gold! The two of them are unbelievable. They are sheer dynamite. You get a real sense of their love for each other…. Soap Opera Digest is reporting that their sources say that the Ingo wrapped his run already last month in October. With GH reportedly having a vaccine mandate for everyone that works at the show in place since November 1st, and Rademacher publicly opposed to vaccine mandates, it had been assumed he would no longer be able to remain a cast member on the soap opera.

This drew blowback from his transgender castmate, Cassandra James, and several of his now former colleagues.

Sheryl, who has also been the host or the co-host of the last several Daytime Emmy ceremonies sat down with Maurice and what followed was an extremely candid conversation between the two. The comedian also talked openly about her childhood trauma and the molestation she suffered, and how all roads eventually led her to The Talk. A true to defender of the daytime medium, Sheryl, along with Maurice, openly shared the reasons they have stayed put on the talk show and on GH, respectively, while often wanting to branch out and do other projects.

Kudos to Maurice and Sheryl for exposing their truth to help others. You can watch the episode below. Then, let us know your thoughts of this inspiring conversation via the comment section. In it, as previously reported , it included an image of trans woman, Rachel Levine, the U. Next, he said he wanted to apologize to GH transgender actress, Cassandra James, who fired back at Rademacher on Sunday and since that time has seen strong support on social media from her GH co-stars.

As to his status with General Hospital, Rademacher shared that he would soon comment on that situation, but could not do it at the moment. Absolutely love GH!!! Michael S. Trish Raley. Jake NJ. He pretty much got them their jobs. Two iconic figures on the show and on soaps. They cannot be replaced. They need to shore up the Quartermaine family and bring back Lucky and, now that Genie Francis is under contract at long last and long overdue!!!

And——how about some levity in the program? That could easily be accomplished by giving Laura a passionate love story and love interest. Everything else was FF material. I think unfortunately the direction GH is headed in, dropping very likable, long-term characters, coincides with their overall programming philosophy. Look at how little they invest in scenes with Anna and Robert, like the rescue of Robin. It was quick, little money spent on it, no suspenseful outdoors stuff and far from the quallity adventures Anna, Robert, Luke, etc.

Ugh…I know, Tristan. Dealing with Sonny and his cohorts day in and day out is not too appealing. Nancy has good ideas; especially about Mac and Anna….. I never realized what a good looking guy John York is. He and Felicia are stunning together.

Did I mention how beautiful Christina Malandro Wagner is? They are not dark — and not boring either. I liked how the writers generalized the dialogue to touch on several storylines on the show. Pathetic waste of talent… Felicia had … Read more ». The waste that this show and this production team have made with all their new characters is just a tragedy.

Nina and Franco first and foremost. Much of the poignancy I felt watching Robin and Patrick leave is for the loss of what they represented for the show. It has more flow, and Felicia speaks!!!!!!!!! But what a colorless, nearly joyless ride they took us on to arrive there! I could not have been more disappointed!!! Ditto for the absence of Rick Springfield as Noah…. Hi Shay. Thank you for your reply.

I am a relative newbie to this board, so I really appreciate your clarification of your comments, with which I largely agree!

Hi Melissa… You will find on these boards a select few who feel sex over a certain age uncomfortable to watch, inappropriate, not realistic, laughable. It was beautifully done.

All the scenes were raw and real. There is such a love and respect between them that can never be replaced. This was a magic group of people that fought through the last couple years of story and acted their butts off. No matter what they were given each scene felt real. We can all imagine happier simpler times for … Read more ». My sentiments exactly—leave it to the WOMEN writers to give the viewers and actors the respect they deserve.

Keep up the good work, writers. A little underwhelmed. At least Patrick and Robin, with Emma in tow, got married again. But the rest of the wedding party seemed like window dressing except for a couple of wrap-up conversations between Robin, Carly, Liz, and Jason. I realize it was short notice, but no music, laughter, festivity to speak of…Maxie where were you?

Felicia warmed a seat…that was all. Nothing between Anna and Robert…no meaningful glances, smiles, hugs, … Read more ». At one point, pulling luggage, I was worried the only dialogue Robert was going to have was to echo what Emma? Maybe next time! Sometimes simple ceremonies like this one, without gowns and special sets, are the best.

The attendees were the people who meant the most to Patrick and Robin and their family, and they also happen to be longtime vets on GH. I was happy with how the wedding was done and what was said and the true emotion on the set. End of an era is right. The era of must watch GH. No more doctors left at the hospital unless one counts Lucas.

Anyone seen Lucas lately? I loved it. Both Kimberly and Jason wore their hearts on their sleeves in the episode. While the entire story wrap up seemed rushed at times, the actors never let the lack of material diminish their efforts in giving the audience their all. I loved watching this family unit over the years and it felt as if a little bit of the heart of the show left with them yesterday.

I will miss them. And really, I am kind of putting it off because I cannot bear the loss of this family! But from all reports, GH did the little family justice in the send-off. There is a rumour afoot that 10 minutes were edited out of the show, which Nathan Varni claims will be put on ABC.

Would these minutes include lines spoken by Felicia and Robert, who were both reportedly reduced to props in the episode? The show has edited scenes previously that would have been nice to see during the broadcast…. It flows better, and Felicia speaks!!! So beautiful. I especially loved when Patrick gave Emma a hug and kiss when she walked down the aisle, because you could really tell it was Jason and Brooklyn in that moment, not just Patrick and Emma.

I did love his scene with Billy Miller, because it … Read more ». That way Jason would have had better story and Brooklyn would still be on the show.

Quite often I am sad when an actor chooses to leave but is just that, their choice. And sometimes the character needs to still be on the show.

In this case the part should be recast and, in my opinion, the GH casting director does a great job. Well at least they had the decency to let these characters ride off in the sunset together as a family— leaving the door open for future returns. Sometimes sweet and simple works the best, so kudos to GH for being brave enough to usher them off … Read more ».

A wonderful episode indeed. I will watch it again. Thank you GH for a fantastic episode. I wish more episodes were more like this one. The only thing holding me to GH now is Tristan is coming back as Robert soon. I love the Jones family too, but where is Nathan?! I kept waiting for those meaningful conversations to happen between Anna and Robert; and for Felicia to comfort Mac as he had to say goodbye to Robin — again.

For that matter I was expecting a nice exchange between Robert and Mac. We got none of it. Just weird jumps to other stories that jolted us out of the wedding scenes. And btw, how amateur hour was it that the cast had to pull the folding chairs out of the way while a scene was playing! All I could hear was the scraping of chairs. Victor is going to offer Robin a job, he knows Robin is a brilliant scientist and he needs her scientific genius to bring his family back from the dead.

Of course Robin is not going to be thrilled by the offer. The last thing she wants it to leave her family again, she just got them back. Victor makes her a tempting offer that is hard for her to refuse. Victor also insists that if Robin accepts his offer she cannot discuss it with Patrick.

We know, since Kimberly is leaving the show for now she will accept the offer. Now what could Victor offer Robin that would make her leave her family again? The first and perhaps the most obvious reason could be that Victor tells Robin that he has a cure for aids. But since February sweeps are starting a far more plausible story line than a cure for AIDS would have Victor use Jason to get her to cooperate.
